Quail's Deli

Quails Deli was initially introduced by Brydlyn Quail, a catering lecturer at the local FE College. Jim and Brydlyn had noticed customers were looking for easy to prepare meals at short notice or food for entertaining at home. Honey baked ham, pies, lasagnes, quiches and many varied and interesting salads soon became standard items on the customer's shopping list. Catering staff continually up-grade their skills and range of items by attending courses at catering establishments and Ballymaloe Cookery School.

Christmas time, in particular, allows them to show off their range of skills when they prepare delicious cakes, puddings, chutneys, mince pies etc. As many customers say, 'Christmas time is no bother. I just call Quails.'
